Periodically I will include pieces that aren’t agate or jasper, but are noteworthy enough in their own way to be included here.

Dugas, Unpolished Slab
3″ x 1 5/8″ x 1/4″ This is a beautiful piece of plume agate from a very rare location.
Mulligan Peak, Facecut Rough
2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ This is a nice example of black plumes with dendrites floating in translucent agate. This is the only piece I ever found like this from this location.
Southern Arizona, Unpolished Slab
3 3/4″ x 2 7/8″ x 1/4″ This is a nice solid piece of multicolor jasper with inclusions that I found awhile back in southern AZ.

3″ x 2″ x 1/4″ This is a pretty piece with fortification, druzy crystal, & small plumes from one of my favorite locations.
Central Arizona 5, Facecut Rough
4″ x 2 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ This is a really nice piece of agate with euhedral quartz and red sagenite needles in a blue & white background.
Cave Creek, Unpolished Slab
3 1/2″ x 2 5/8″ x 1/4″ This is a really sweet old stock slab of orbicular jasper filled with bold red orby flowers in a translucent background.
Southern Arizona, Face Polished Specimen
2 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ This is a very cool chunk of copper in matrix found by my partner Kevin Kubie.
Northern Arizona, Unpolished Slab
3 3/4″ x 2 5/8″ x 1/4″ This is an unusual piece of amber colored plume cave onyx that I dug years ago.

3 1/4″ x 2 1/8″ x 1 1/2″ This is a very cool piece with a small fortification and large squared-off sagenite needles that is uncommon for its location.

3″ x 2 1/2″ x 1/4″ This is a really striking piece with orbs, plumes, and other colorful inclusions.
Muggins Mtns., Unpolished Slab
3 5/8″ x 3″ x 1/4″ This is an awesome slab filled with bold green & gold inclusions from a great location that has been closed for many years.

3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ x 1/4″ This is a beautiful piece filled with colorful inclusions in a lavender/pale blue background.

3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1/4″ This is a pretty piece of fortification agate with red inclusions in a pale blue & white background.
Southern Arizona, Polished Slab
3 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ x 1/4″ This is a cool slab of quartzite with chrysocolla and a metallic vein that includes silver, galena, & pyrite.
Sheep Bridge, Face Polished Specimen
3″ x 2″ x 1 1/2″ This is a great piece of purple agate with fortifications & multicolor sagenite needles & inclusions.
Central Arizona 5, Unpolished Slab
4 1/2″ x 2 3/8″ x 1/4″ This is a really pretty slab filled with small white fortifications and other multicolor inclusions.

4 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ x 1/4″ This is a beautiful purple agate filled with white sagenite sprays and an open pocket lined with small quartz crystals.
Winkleman, Polished Rough
2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ Rare red/orange sagenite agate from an old, now closed, collecting location.

3″ x 2 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ A sweet piece of sagenite agate with various size needles in a blue & white background.

2 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1 3/8″ A terrific fortification agate with great parallax in shades of lavender & pink around a euhedral quartz open center.

4 1/2″ x 4″ x 1/4″ This is an interesting piece of sagenite agate with other inclusions in a gold & lavender background.
Eastern Arizona, Facecut Rough
2 3/8″ x 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ This is a nice piece of translucent agate with little floating black inclusions. This material reminds me a lot of the same type of agate from Montana.
