New pictures will be added in no particular order. Hopefully, as the gallery grows, all you crazy agate lovers out there will find my collection as interesting and beautiful as I do. Periodically I will include pieces that aren’t agate or jasper, but are noteworthy enough in their own way to be included here.

Southern Arizona, Face Polished Specimen
1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 1″  This is an awesome little purple/lavender nodule from a new location that my partner & I recently found. It’s a very small deposit in an unexpected area, and loaded with great nodules!

1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″ x 1″  This is an another little nodule from the new location. This one features shiny metallic silver plumes (can’t see in this pic, but they are in the black area) with banding, moss, and center druzy vug.

1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 1″  One more from the new location with lavender, orange, & white bands with green moss.

Sheep Bridge, Face Polished Specimen
3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ x 2″  This is a nice example of white sagenite in a lavender agate background with open center crystal-lined vug.

Winkleman, Dome Polished Rough
1 1/2″ x 2″ x 1 1/2″  Rare red/orange sagenite agate from an old, now closed, collecting location.

Northern Arizona, Face Polished Rough
1 1/2″ x 1″ x 1 1/4″  This is another specimen of fossil reptile bone with its scute (bony plate) still attached on the top.

Southern Arizona, Unpolished Endcut
6 1/4″ x 3″ x 1 1/2″  Large slab of oolitic agate from an ancient lake or ocean bed.

Phoenix, Dome Face Polished  Rough
2″ x 1 1/4″ x 3″  This is an extremely rare agate that was collected decades ago from a deposit that is now buried under the city of Phoenix.

Eastern Arizona, Face Polished Nodule 
2″ x 1 1/8″ x 1 1/2″  This is a beautiful pink fortification agate with a white waterline pattern floating in the center.

Payson, Rough Specimen
3″ x 1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″  This is an awesome single quartz crystal that has grown completely through another amethyst quartz crystal.

Central Arizona 1, Facecut Rough
3 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ x 2 1/8″  Lots of different inclusions in this unusual agate from an old collecting location.

Sheep Bridge, Face Polished Specimen
3 1/2″ x 2 1/8″ x 1/2″  This is an unusual piece for this location with a bright orange crystal-lined central vug surrounded by translucent agate, white bands, and sagenite.

Central Arizona 5, Rough Specimen
1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 1 3/4″  This is an unusual agate geode filled with sprays of sagenite that was never infilled with the silica that would have made it a solid agate nodule.

Eastern Arizona, Face Polished Specimen
2 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ x 2″  This is a cool water worn black agate with white bands, small tubes, and mossy stringers

Central Arizona 4, Unpolished Slab
3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ x 1/4″  Lots of pretty pink moss inclusions in this translucent agate with included quartz crystals.

Northern Arizona, Rough Specimen
3″ x 1 1/2″ x 3/4″  A fun example of a marine fossil imprint in chert. The back side is chipped to be used as a tool by early Native Americans.

Eastern Arizona, Face Polished Specimen
2″ x 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″  This is a nice piece of translucent agate with tubes, bands, and small black dendrites. This material looks very similar to the agate from Montana.

2″ x 1 /4″ x 1 3/4″  This piece has an orange floating center surrounded by pinkish colored euhedral quartz.

Brenda, Face Polished Slab
2 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 1/4″  This is a beautiful piece of translucent agate with colorful red, green, & white mossy inclusions.

Southern Arizona, Facecut Rough
4″ x 2″ x 1 1/2″  This is a pretty piece of chrysocolla in dolomite with veins of malachite and quartz.

Central Arizona 3, Face Polished Specimen
3″ x 1 5/8″ x 1″  There’s lots of beautiful orange & red moss in this colorful agate with a single white band and other inclusions.

Central Arizona 2, Face Polished Specimen
2″ x 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″  This is a great piece of translucent agate with colorful tubes, bands, and other small inclusions.

Southern Arizona, Rough Chunk
2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 2″  This is a pretty piece of flame agate covered with a fine sparkling coat of pinkish-orange druzy crystals.

Brenda, Face Polished Specimen
2″ x 1 1/4″ x 5/8″  This is a great little agate filled with bright red plumy filaments bordered in soft pink alongside a section of pearlescent looking euhedral quartz.
